Laser Hair Treatment
Laser Hair Therapy is the latest advancement in hair restoration. It's a safe effective way to improve the overall quality of your hair. If you have thinning hair or are balding, laser hair therapy may help you stop your hair loss and strengthen damaged, weak hair shafts.
Laser Therapy provides light energy to the scalp making the hair look healthier, fuller and thicker by
utilizing a cool laser, approved by the FDA as a class IIIA cosmetic device. It is perfectly safe and there are no known side effects. It is suitable for both men and women.
As with any treatment, results vary from client to client. For some clients results may be seen in as little as anywhere from 3 to 6 weeks. Normally clients will see improvement within the first six months. Most everyone will see positive results from treatment as long as you have hair to work with.
A treatment program will be set-up for you at the time of consultation. For best results a program that includes 2 treatments/week for the first month and then 1 treatment/week after that is recommended. Individual sessions are 30 minutes each. Pricing and treatment schedules will be determined after consultation. A typical program is for 1 year.
During their treatment session, most clients read or watch television. Some just choose to relax and close their eyes. As the laser light is cool to the touch and does not contain the thermal component to cut or vaporize tissue, clients say they don't feel any sensation from the laser light.
In combination with in-salon treatment, we recommend use of a small hand-held portable laser comb (available for purchase in our salon). When brushed through the hair and over the scalp, the laser comb administers additional phototherapy to the scalp, to enhance results achieved in the salon. You can use the laser comb in the comfort of your own home, during your spare time.
Whilst undergoing a laser treatment program, we recommend the full line of cleansers, hair treatments and styling products offered by GENERATION, our exclusive brand of products, created in a pharmaceutical laboratory and designed specifically for clients with fine, thinning hair. These products are essential to a successful program.
Once you have achieved your desired results, we recommend a maintenance program of 1 or two 30 minute laser hair therapy sessions a month and to use your GENERATION products at home.
